Dr Maryam Abdullahi
My name is Maryam Abdullahi Hassan, I graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where I completed my medical degree. After earning my degree, I pursued my junior residency at the esteemed Federal Medical Center, Katsina, where I focused on the specialized field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It was during this period that my passion for women's health and well-being deepened, as I witnessed the transformative impact of quality medical care on their lives.
My relentless pursuit of excellence led me to become a member of the West African College of Surgeons. Through continuous learning and professional development, I aim to stay at the forefront of advancements in medical science and surgical techniques, ensuring that the women under my care receive the highest standard of treatment.
Currently, I have the privilege of serving the community as a medical practitioner at the Katsina State Primary Health Agency. Here, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to women of all backgrounds, advocating for their rights and wellbeing. It brings me immense joy to contribute to the health and happiness of the women in our region.
As a medical doctor, my mission is not solely confined to treating illnesses; I genuinely care about the overall well-being of my patients. My approach encompasses empathy, compassion, and the understanding that each woman's journey is unique. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment, where women can openly discuss their health concerns and receive the support they need.
My experiences in the medical field have solidified my belief in the power of education and awareness to promote women's health. I actively participate in community outreach programs, workshops, and educational campaigns to empower women with knowledge about their bodies and health, encouraging them to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead, and I am enthusiastic about collaborating with other healthcare professionals and organizations to advance the cause of women's health. Together, we can make a significant impact and foster healthier and happier communities.
